Heuberger looking to upgrade against Henman

Switzerland’s Ivo Heuberger hopes to receive an “upgrade” when he takes on Tim Henman in the second round at Wimbledon.

Heuberger had never won a match at Wimbledon before his first round victory over Flavio Saretta of Brazil, losing to Pat Rafter on court 18 and Andy Roddick on court two on two of his previous three appearances.

But when the 28-year-old qualifier finally takes on the British number one at the All England Club he will look to make the most of the experience.

“I will try to concentrate more or less on my game and try to have fun,” said Heuberger, an ex-boyfriend of former women’s world number one Martina Hingis. “If I have fun, that means I will play well.

“For sure, Tim never lost here in the first week for the last nine years so you can see he’s really tough to beat. But in the end I try not to think too much about it.

“I don’t think I’ll watch a tape of Tim’s match. From what I heard they said that Tim was very tight (against Ruben Ramirez Hidalgo) so it’s going to be a different match.”
