Myskina wins Russian battle for French Open title

Anastasia Myskina cruised to her first grand slam title after brushing aside the challenge of fellow Russian Elena Dementieva at the French Open.

Myskina won 6-1 6-2 in 59 minutes in a one-sided encounter to become the first player from her country to win one of the four major titles.
