Davenport reaches final

Lindsay Davenport reached the final of the Toray Pan Pacific Open after beating the injured Jelena Dokic in the semi-finals.

The second-seed thumped Dokic 6-1 6-0 to set up a clash with Bulgarian Magdalena Maleeva in the final.

Dokic was struggling with a groin injury she had picked up during her second round match against Janette Husarova.
