Agassi handed easy passage

Defending champion Andre Agassi eased into the semi-finals of the Australian Open after Sebastien Grosjean became the latest player to withdraw through injury.

The Melbourne crowd were short-changed with Grosjean’s retirement following Amelie Mauresmo’s decision to withdraw from her women’s quarter-final with a back injury.
