Love match for Hewitt
Former world number one Lleyton Hewitt will face fiancee Kim Clijsters on court in next week’s Hopman Cup.
Hewitt, a losing finalist last year, will represent Australia while Clijsters will be wearing Belgium’s colours for the first meeting between the two countries in the cup.
Hewitt, in his third year of participation in the event, will team up with Alicia Molik with Clijsters, in her fourth year at the Perth-based tournament, partnered by Xavier Malisse for Wednesday’s mixed doubles clash.
Every Hopman Cup tie consists of three rubbers, with two singles and one mixed doubles match for the two-player teams.
