The Roland Garros crowd will come under close scrutiny today as the men’s semi-finals at the French Open get underway.

Yesterday’s action was overshadowed by the astonishing hostility shown towards defending champion Serena Williams in her three-set defeat to Belgian Justine Henin-Hardenne.
