Agassi philosophical after losing no 1 spot
Andre Agassi was philosophical after his first round exit at the Italia Masters saw him knocked off the world number one spot by Australian Lleyton Hewitt.
Having cruised through the opening set of his first round clash with Spain’s David Ferrer without dropping a game, Agassi, who became at 33 the oldest number one ever when he replaced Hewitt at the top of the rankings last week, seemed on course for a routine triumph.
