Hewitt overcomes Swedish test
World number one and Wimbledon champion Lleyton Hewitt was given a thorough examination by Swede Magnus Larsson in Melbourne today before winning in five sets.
Having comfortably won the first set 6-3, he lost the second by the same margin, but appeared to be back on track when he raced into a two sets to one lead after taking the third set 6-1.
However, Larsson fought back to take the fourth set on a tie-break, but Hewitt finally converted his third match point to claim the final set 6-2.
