Capriati blames op for Aussie exit

Jennifer Capriati today became the first defending champion to ever be knocked out of the Australian Open in the first round.

The American, vying for a hat-trick of titles at Melbourne Park, was beaten 2-6 7-6 (8/6) 6-4 by unseeded German Marlene Weingartner under the lights of the Rod Laver Arena.
