Serena Williams is out to complete what she has dubbed the "Serena Slam" at the Australian Open and join an elite band of players who have held all four Grand Slam titles at the same time.

The world number one, who won at Wimbledon, Roland Garros and Flushing Meadow, missed out on the 2002 Australian Open with an ankle injury, allowing Jennifer Capriati to win the title for the second time in a row.
