USA overpower Europe in Collins Cup tournament

The USA have taken the inaugural Collins Cup at the RDS. US pair Monica Seles and Lindsay Davenport took the first match last night 6-1 7-6.

The Williams sisters then ensured victory with a straight set victory in the second encounter.

In singles action later day today - Serena Williams takes on Iva Majoli, Venus then goes up against Elena Bovina - while Jennifer Capriati faces Daniela Hantuchova in the final match of the week.
