Stevenson digs in to defeat Dokic

Alexandra Stevenson reached her second successive quarter-final as she lashed 16 aces past Jelena Dokic at the Swisscom Challenge in Zurich.

The 28th-ranked Stevenson, who reached the last eight in Filderstadt last week before falling to Daniela Hantuchova, outlasted Dokic 7-6 (8-6) 4-6 7-5 in two hours, 14 minutes.
