Two Irish cyclists have finished in the top 32 of the junior men’s time trial at the World Road Race Championships in Belgium.

Theo Hardwicke finished 29th in the event, while Nicholas Roche finished 32nd.

Meanwhile, Ireland’s Geraldine Gill finished well down the field in the women’s elite time trial, complaining about a trapped nerve in her back.
