Henman beaten in straight sets

British number one Tim Henman has crashed out of the US Open tennis tournament in straight sets to Juan Ignacio Chela.

Henman, who has been suffering from a shoulder injury which he claimed was much better, lost 6-3 6-3 6-2 to the Argentinian.

The number five seed’s serve was broken twice in the first set, once in the second and twice in the third as Chela took advantage of a below-par performance.
