Hingis win sets up Seles clash

Martina Hingis will meet Monica Seles in the fourth round of the US Open, after the Swiss star beat Amanda Coetzer 6-3 6-4.

Hingis then teamed up with Anna Kournikova to win a doubles match against Laura Granville and Jennifer Hopkins 6-1 6-2.

Jennifer Capriati thrashed fellow American Meghann Shaughnessy 6-2 6-2, while Venus Williams beat Martina Muller 6-1 6-2 in just 41 minutes.

Williams sent down one stunning 115mph serve as she outclassed the 19-year-old.
