Capriati knocked out of Wimbledon

Third seed, Jennifer Capriati of the United States, has been knocked out of the quarter-finals of the ladies singles competition at Wimbledon.

She lost in straight sets to the ninth seed, Amelie Mauresmo of France, 6-3, 6-2.
