Fifth seed Kim Clijsters has been knocked out of Wimbledon.

The Belgian was defeated by Russia's Elena Likhovtseva in straight sets.

The score was: 7-6 (7-5), 6-2.

Meanwhile, Clijsters' compatriot had no trouble advancing to the next round.

The sixth seed defeated Czech Denisa Chladkova in straight sets - 6-2, 7-5.
