Former Tour de France winner Jan Ullrich has pulled out of this year's race because of a knee injury.

Former Tour de France winner Jan Ullrich has pulled out of this year's race because of a knee injury.

The 1997 champion, who was runner-up to Lance Armstrong in last year's race, has been struggling with the injury to his right knee for a couple of months.
