Tennis: Goran goes home
Goran Ivanisevic became the sixth seed from the top 10 to bow out of the Australian Open.
The Wimbledon champion slumped 6-3 7-6 5-7 6-4 to Frenchman Jerome Golmard in the second round encounter in the Rod Laver Arena.
After losing the first two sets, there was a glimmer of hope for the Croatian in the third when he saved a break point at 5-6 and then broke Golmard for the first time in the match.
But the left-hander from Dijon was not to be denied as he broke midway through the fourth set and kept his nerve to knock out the tenth seed.
