Tennis: Capriati and Hewitt top seeds for Australian Open

DEFENDING champion Jennifer Capriati and world number one Lleyton Hewitt are the top seeds for this month’s Australian Open.

Hewitt, who pulled out of the Hopman Cup last week with chicken pox, becomes the first Australian to be the number one seed at their home Grand Slam since Ken Rosewall in 1976.
