Tennis: Rafter makes up for Hewitt's defeat

Pat Rafter made up for Lleyton Hewitt's surprise defeat to haul Australia level on the opening day of the Davis Cup final against France.

Rafter shrugged off the effects of tendonitis in his arm to beat Sebastian Grosjean 6-3 7-6 (8-6) 7-5 and draw the tie level at 1-1.
