Tennis: Seles skips Wimbledon

Monica Seles is the latest player to miss Wimbledon through injury.

The 27-year-old, who lost in the final to Steffi Graf in 1992 but hasn't been past the quarter-final since, has been suffering from a recurring foot injury, which also forced her to withdraw from the French Open at Roland Garros last month.

Seles, a four-time Australian Open, three-time French and two-time US Open champion, joins former French Open winner Mary Pierce among the absentees.
