Rob Heffernan not throwing in the towel

Rob Heffernan isn’t going to give up the sport he loves, even though he finished outside the medals in the Olympics 50km walk.

After the event he declared: “I still think I am good enough to win or, win a medal. So no, this isn’t the end of it.”

Heffernan, who won gold in the 2013 World Championships 50km in Moscow, said he loved the sport.
