Judging by his Twitter activity, boxing medal hopeful Paddy Barnes is determined to make a few famous friends in London.

Ever since his entrance with the Irish team at the opening ceremony, it’s been clear Barnes is quite a character.

While others were content to wave to the crowd and film the occasion on their mobile phone, the Belfast boxer was holding up a sign saying he was available for sponsorship and to contact him through his Twitter account.
