Rookie Rosberg ready for challenge

NICO ROSBERG has declared himself ready for the “hard world” of Formula One after signing to race for Williams in 2006.

The German driver graduates as GP2 Series champion and joins Williams as Mark Webber’s team-mate, filling the void created when Jenson Button bought out his contract in order to stay at BAR-Honda.

Rosberg impressed in GP2, the support series for Formula One in Europe, where he beat hot favourite and Renault protege Heikki Kovalainen to the crown.
