Henman withdraws from Lyon Grand Prix

Tim Henman has withdrawn from next week’s Lyon Grand Prix tournament rest his sore back.

He was expected to be the top seed at the event, which begins on Monday.

But he has been carrying a back injury since the US Open and has also been suffering with a shoulder problem since Britain’s Davis Cup defeat against Austria.
