Gronholm leads in Cyprus

Marcus Gronholm took advantage of a mechanical problem for world champion Petter Solberg to claim the lead of the Cyprus Rally at the end of day one.

Gronholm goes into day two with a 10.7-second lead over Peugeot team-mate Harri Rovanpera with Citroen’s Sebastien Loeb almost 10 seconds further back in third.
