McKiernan defends title

Catherina McKiernan will put the disappointment of missing the Olympics firmly behind her as she defends her crown in the Adidas Frank Duffy 10-mile race in the Phoenix Park tomorrow, 10am.

McKiernan defends title

McKiernan won last year in a time of 57:24.

Over 1,000 runners have pre-registered for the race, and Race Director Martin Kearney expects that at least 1500 runners to turn up on the day

“Based on last year, and also the huge late turn out for the first race in the series, we would expect to have over 1,500 runners,” he said.

Entries are accepted between 8am and 9am at Race HQ at Donore Harriers on the Chapelizod Road. The race starts at 10am on the Upper Glen about half a mile from the Chapelizod gates.
