Rossi rests after testing

World champion Valentino Rossi is looking forward to putting his feet up after an early start to his pre-season testing.

Rossi’s Gauloises Yamaha team jetted off to Malaysia to sneak in three days of testing at Sepang before the winter bans kicks in at the end of the month.

The Italian, and new team-mate Colin Edwards, worked hard on fine tuning Yamaha’s 2005 bike but Rossi is now ready for a rest.

Rossi is convinced this week’s test was worthwhile, believing it has given Yamaha a head start in their 2005 preparations.
