Sensational victory as Iron Mike flattens Etienne in just 49 seconds

MIKE TYSON insisted he beat a broken back to knock Clifford Etienne senseless in just 49 seconds of his latest muddy comeback affair on the banks of the Mississippi on Saturday night.

Perhaps it is his worries about his back smashing the canvas again which have propelled Tyson to suggest he wants to postpone a projected rematch against Lennox Lewis in June.

Tyson was never going to learn much from his contest with the glass-jawed Etienne, who managed to pluck his gumshield from his mouth as he lay flat out and supposedly out of it for the 10th time in his undistinguished career.
