McKiernan bids for Mini-Marathon

Catherina McKiernan is looking to follow her win in the Dublin Mini-Marathon by successfully defending her title in the upcoming Adidas Irish Runner Challenge — the first in this year’s adidas Race Series.

The five-mile road race takes place on Sunday, July 4 in the Phoenix Park.

McKiernan took last year’s race in a time of 27:00, and is hoping she can both retain her title and better her time this year.
