Jenson Button set the fastest time in testing at Paul Ricard yesterday after a mammoth 136-lap stint.

The English driver, who has scored consecutive podium finishes this season, set a best lap of one minute 6.930 seconds in his BAR to pip Kimi Raikkonen to top spot. Scotland’s David Coulthard was just 0.2secs slower than McLaren team-mate Raikkonen.
