THE Garda Siochana and the Lady Elizabeth BC eights both won through to the quarter-final of the Thames Challenage Cup at Henley Regatta yesterday.

Garda beat Peterborough by 1¾l, while Lady Elizabeth were the same distance clear of their Thames Tradesmen opponents.

But out went the Neptune eight beaten by ¾l by Kingston.
