Seymour continues mountain bike run

Robin Seymour kept his sequence of wins in the National Mountain bike Championships intact yesterday on Kilruddery Estate, Bray Co. Wicklow.

This was his eleventh title and he did it in style, leading from the start of the six lap course. This was his last event at home before he departs to represent Ireland in the Olympic Games in Athens.

In the ladies section, Tarja Owens like Robin was adding her ninth title, but sadly she missed out for Greece as Jenny Brennan had superior placings in world ranking events which was the criteria for selection.
