Warren strikes Khan deal

Promoter Frank Warren yesterday announced an historic deal which will see Olympic silver medallist Amir Khan boxing on professional shows next year.

Warren has struck an exclusive three-year deal with the Amateur Boxing Association for fighters from both codes to share the same bill. It will begin in March when it is planned for Khan to appear on a show topped by Joe Calzaghe in Manchester.
