Sheedy’s brings an impressive management team into the squad with selectors Stephen Frampton (Waterford) and James O’Connor (Clare) while former Tipperary senior hurling coach Eamon O’Shea will be involved in a coaching capacity.

And they’ll need that expertise to win the title for the first time since 2007 as Leinster await in the hurling semi-final clash on Sunday, February 19, at Nowlan Park. Kilkenny.

Munster last won the title five years ago.

Ger O’Sullivan (Cork) has assembled Maurice Horan (Limerick/Mayo) and John Kennedy (Kerry) as his selectors for the football semi-final with Leinster on at the same date in Parnell Park Dublin.
