Coming off the back of a strong league campaign, Ballyhea recorded an excellent win over Mallow in the first round of the Cork Premier IHC at Buttevant on Saturday.
They may have stuttered a little early on, but an impressive 10-point haul in the fourth quarter left the outcome in no doubt, confining Mallow to the round two route against either Carrigaline or Kilworth, who play next weekend.
