Laois SHC final: The Harps 2-23 Camross 0-13

Tipperary goalkeeping great Ken Hogan worked the managerial oracle again as he led The Harps to a first ever Laois SHC crown, overwhelming Camross by 16 points in O'Moore Park.

Hogan's string of county successes is endless, several in Offaly, with Birr and St Rynagh’s. He previously led Borris-Kilcotton to their first Laois title, not to mind his efforts with home club Lorrha and in camogie.

Hogan's young side were outstanding on Sunday, with the scoring load shared around a slick outfit.

They led 1-11 to 0-8 at the break, the goal coming when Ross Deegan fired in from close range.

Rian Edwards, James Duggan and Eoin Delaney kept extending the advantage.

And when Justin Duggan finished to the net from Eoin Delaney's pass, the contest was over at 2-15 to 0-10.

With Cody Comerford and Eoghan Murphy dominant at the back, The Harps didn't let up and finished well clear to jubilant scenes.
