Brian Hogan has been appointed as the new Kilkenny under-20 hurling manager.
Seven-time All-Ireland-winning ex-Kilkenny hurler Hogan - currently in charge of his club O'Loughlin Gaels - will step into the role vacated by his former teammate, newly-appointed Cats senior boss Henry Shefflin.
The 45-year-old - a two-time All-Star centre-back - led his club to the Kilkenny SHC title in 2023, their first since 2016, and subsequently guided them to the All-Ireland club SHC final in early 2024, only to lose out to Galway outfit St. Thomas'.
A statement read: "Kilkenny GAA is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Hogan as manager of the Kilkenny U20 hurling team.
"Brian Hogan's appointment will be brought before the County Board Delegates for ratification at the September County Board meeting."
