Dara Sheedy and Brian Hurley will again be absent for the Cork footballers in Saturday’s Sam Maguire opener at home to Meath.

The forward pair missed the Munster final defeat the weekend before last and neither’s return will come in time to bolster the home attack for Saturday’s fixture.
