Cork minor football boss Keith Ricken has named his starting 15 to take on Clare in their Munster MFC Phase 2 Round 1 meeting on Monday night (throw-in, 7pm).

Ricken has named two players who featured from the start in last year's All-Ireland quarter-final exit to Tyrone for the Clarecastle clash, Ballincollig's Joe Miskella - captain for 2026 - and goalkeeper Rory Twohig.

Colm O’Riordan, Gabriel Oronsaye and Conor Garvey form the full-back line, with Adrigole's Conor Dowling anchoring the defence from his six berth. He's flanked by Darragh O'Sullivan and Éanna Lynch.

There's more Beara representation in midfield, where Urhan's Kieran O'Shea partners Conrad Murphy of Ibane Gaels.

Ben Hegarty of Ballinora leads the attack from the 40, with Eoghan Ahern and Miskella occupying the wing-forward slots, while Clonakilty's Tom Whooley - a sub against Tyrone last term - Jacob Barry, Dónal Herlihy are named inside.

Meanwhile, Marc Ó Sé has named his Kerry minor outfit for their opener against Waterford in Lemybrien.

2025 standout Danny Murphy captains the side, and is named at right wing-back, while Danny Lane - younger brother of Kerry U20 forward Paddy - will be a key part of Ó Sé's attack.
