The league is over which means it’s time for the real action to begin.
And on Sunday the hurling championship will begin with a bang as shortly after Clare take on Waterford in Ennis, the All-Ireland champions Tipperary welcome the All-Ireland runners-up Cork to Thurles.
Yes it’s a repeat of the 2025 All-Ireland hurling final in the opening game of the 2026 Munster championship and both sides will be determined to prove a point.

Where is the game being played?
The FBD Semple Stadium in Thurles is the venue for the game.
Throw-in has been set for 4pm.
Clare take on Waterford at Zimmer Biomet Páirc Chíosóg. Throw-in there is at 2pm.
