Out to make a point. Out to prove wrong those that slighted and disrespected them. The voice of the Limerick footballers lost out to boardroom politics last August. Here is their opportunity to be heard.
Jimmy Lee’s Limerick panel are on the road to Páirc Uà Chaoimh for Sunday’s Munster quarter-final. If the decision to introduce League-based seeding of the provincial football championship hadn’t been delayed last winter, Cork would not be entering the fray for another fortnight. The terrible inconvenience of having to play a provincial quarter-final would not be foisted on them.
