Ailish Whitty elected next president of the Camogie Association

Ailish Whitty has been elected as next president of the Camogie Association after the organisations annual congress in Newry on Saturday.
Whitty, a former player and coach herself, will succeed Brian Molloy as Uachtarán Tofa after she ran unopposed.
The Galwegian is a member of Rathgarogue/Cushinstown GAA where she served as the coaching and games representative on Ard Chomhairle from 2017 to 2020.
There she integrated foundation coaching and revised intercounty juvenile competitions. She is currently in her third year as Leinster delegate to Ard Chomhairle and a member of the governance sub-committee.
