Cork hurlers make seven changes, none for Rebel footballers in promotion chase

Cork have made seven changes for Saturday evening's final round National Hurling League clash with Offaly at Páirc Uà Chaoimh.Â
Niall O'Leary, Seán O'Donoghue, Robert Downey, Mark Coleman, team captain Darragh Fitzgibbon, Hugh O'Connor, and Alan Connolly are those to come in while Eoin Roche, Daire O'Leary, Ger Millerick, Micheál Mullins, Damien Cahalane, Shane Kingston and Alan Walsh are those to drop out from the team which lost to Limerick last time out.Â
Ciarán Joyce, who played in midfield against Limerick and was a 2025 All-Star in the half-back line, has been named at fullback.Â
Saturday's game throws in at 7pm. It will be broadcast live on the TG4 YouTube channel.Â
John Cleary has taken the if it ain't broke, don't fix it approach for the Cork footballers' crucial trip to Tyrone. With promotion up for grabs, Cleary has named the same starting team which defeated Kildare last weekend.
For their trip to Armagh, the Kerry footballers have named the same side which defeated Mayo by 16 points last weekend while for Kingdom's hurlers, Podge Boyle - who was said to have retired from the inter-county game - has been named on the bench for their crucial promotion-deciding Division 1B clash with Meath.Â
