3:37pm Eoin Downey went on a rampage there and drilled just wide in search of goal. Alan Connolly points a free. Super reply by KK's Blanchfield, surging through and firing over. KK 0-5 Cork 1-4
3:36pm FT in Salthill. 2-18 to 0-16, in favour of Galway. Galway take a major step towards safety. A drab affair was best summed up that neither side managed to find the target in the closing 13 minutes.
3:35pm Brendan O'Brien in Tullamore today: All over and Limerick win it 2-19 to 0-17. Never in any danger but this was a poor effort on the back of that trouncing of Tipperary last time out. Offaly are staring Division 1B in the face now - as they were this morning - but this was another dogged effort against one of the big boys by them. Next up for Limerick is the visit of Cork
3:34pm Cork need to be doing more with this wind. The shower at the start took some of the sting out of it but it's bellowing again and their half-forward line have hardly harnessed it with their shooting or lack thereof. JF 1-2 to 0-4
3:32pm Limerick are now eight clear of Offaly. 2-19 to 0-17.
3:31pm Reports coming in from around the grounds. Will link them here as the afternoon unfolds. Kerry wrapped things up with a Clifford goal...
3:30pm Now 1-2 to 0-4 for Cork. Ed McDermott with a KK point. Alan Connolly stuck over a Cork free. Wide from Tim O'Mahony. Not a day for shooting.
3:28pm Better check in with the football, with the help of our pals on Score Beo. The Dubs are are gone 1-18 to 2-5 clear of Roscommon.
3:27pm: Mossy Keoghan drills over KK's first from play. They'll all be hard earned today.
3:27pm: Billy Nolan produces a flying save to keep out an Aaron Niland penalty that the 'Bridge youngster won himself. Mark Fitzgerald was shown black for the foul. Niland sends wide the resultant '65. Galway's lead stays at eight, 2-18 to 0-16. Three minutes remaining. Waterford will finish with 14.
3:26pm Says JF in Nowlan Park: Kilkenny's new full-back line had come in for a torrid time early on but they have settled a little. Cork are the team bringing the aggression and their own backs are lapping it up.
3:24pm Cian Kenny has stuck over a couple of frees for Kilkenny. KK 0-2 Cork 1-1
3:23pm Here's that now trademark goal by Hayes

3:20pm Cormac O'Brien glides over a sideline for Cork. They are pinging it around confidently considering the conditions.
3:19pm Meanwhile in Salthill, Galway's interval lead has grown marginally to eight. It should be more. Cianan Fahy, after blocking Calum Lyons, created a three-on-one overlap inside the Waterford 20-metre line. Fahy opted to shoot, Billy Nolan got down low and saved. Jason Rabbitte and Colm Molloy stood unmarked at the other post. Fahy should have passed. Cathal Mannion's two second-half misses from the dead-ball, added to his first-half two, has seen Aaron Niland take over in that department. 2-17 to 0-15. 59 minutes gone.
3:17pm Hang on, familiar tennis goal from Brian Hayes, bats Cork in front from edge of the square. Clever handpass from Alan Connolly set him up. Cork 1-0 KK 0-0
3:16pm: Early wides from Eoin Cody and Darragh Fitz. Conditions mightn't suit hurling but may suit the live blogger fearful of a scorefest.
3:15pm: Larry Ryan with you until end of the day's action. Ben O'Connor says Cork have spent the last three weeks hurling, with the heavy work done. Plenty of heavy work to be done in a soft Nowlan Park today.

Kilkenny appear to have won the toss and captain Darragh Corcoran has pointed towards facing the wind in the first half. A great crowd in UPMC Nowlan Park now. This meeting attracted 12,000 here back in 2009. That number will be toppled today. John Fogarty
Goal from Limerick's Shane O'Brien, the game's first. That's made it 1-17 to 0-13 against Offaly with 16 minutes to go.
Offaly still hanging in there against John Kiely's Limerick. It's 0-17 to 0-12 with 51 minutes gone in Tullamore. Gritty from the home side but Limerick have been very disappointing.
48 minutes gone in Salthill and Galway lead.
Galway 2-16 Waterford 0-15.
36 minutes gone in Tullamore, and Limerick lead Offaly by four. 0-12 to 0-8.
In Corrigan Park, Dublin are still in full control against Antrim. They lead 1-21 to 1-9 with 40 minutes gone.
All over in Killarney and a facile, straightforward 1-18 to 0-7 win for Kerry over Monaghan. Kingdom move onto seven points and looking up. Same cannot be said for Monaghan, who remain pointless after five rounds of Division 1.
Team news from John Fogarty at Nowlan Park: No changes on the Cork team. Kilkenny make one - Ivan Bolger comes in for Rory Garrett.
Kilkenny: Aidan Tallis; Mikey Butler, Mikey Carey, Ivan Garrett; Killian Doyle, Darragh Corcoran (c), Richie Reid; Jordan Molloy, David Blanchfield; Liam Moore, Cian Kenny, Paddy Deegan; Ed McDermott, Eoin Cody, Martin Keoghan.
Cork: Paudie O'Sullivan; Niall O'Leary, Dáire O'Leary, Seán O'Donoghue; Eoin Downey, Ciarán Joyce, Cormac O'Brien; Tim O'Mahony, Cormac O'Brien; Darragh Fitzgibbon (c), William Buckley, Hugh O'Connor; Barry Walsh, Brian Hayes, Alan Connolly.
Half-time at Dr. Hyde Park, and Roscommon have work to do. Just the five two-pointers for the Dublin footballers in that half. As a reminder, Roscommon were 11 behind at half-time last weekend and 13 down after 40 minutes. They are down by 13 currently and play with the wind in the second half.
More drama up in Donegal. We're level with just a minute to go. Peadar Mogan lands a gorgeous two-pointer. Will we get a winner?
The answer is no, as it finishes 1-17 to 0-20. Highly-entertaining affair.

All over in Castlebar, Mayo win. 2-17 to 0-22.
66 gone in Ballyshannon and Galway's Ciaran Mulhern has put two between them.
Kobe McDonald points from play. Mayo lead 2-17 to 0-20 a minute into added time.
We're going to the wire in Mayo's clash with Armagh. Andy Moran's men lead by just two - thanks to a Sam Callinan point - with just four minutes remaining.
The coup de grace for Kerry on 62 minutes as David Clifford careers through, gives Rory Beggan the eyes, and nets the game’s first goal in Killarney. Stick a fork in this one, it’s done. 1-13 to 0-6 for the Kingdom. Monaghan into big relegation bother now.
HT: Galway 2-11 Waterford 0-11.
Goalkeeper Billy Nolan's free on 29 minutes was Waterford's first score in 18 minutes. Supported by the elements, they failed to score from play between the 10th and 35th minute. Galway will feel they should be further clear. Darren Morrissey's loose pass out of defence which was intercepted and punished by Stephen Bennett right on the stroke of half-time was one of many such examples, even if all stray passes didn't end with Waterford white flags.
All very tight between Galway and Donegal too. Galway lead by the minimum (1-15 to 0-19) with 10 to go. Remember, Donegal are playing with 14.
All heating up in Castlebar. Mayo lead 2-15 to 0-18, with Kobe McDonald knocking over a point after replacing Aidan O'Shea. 10 to go.
Full-time in Celtic Park and it's a huge victory for Derry over Cork.
Derry 1-31 Cork 0-14.

Half-time in Tullamore with Limerick leading Offaly by 0-12 to 0-7. Limerick hit five of the last six scores to create some daylight but it's been a poor-quality game so far. Aidan O'Connor with eight of the Limerick points, three of them from play.
52 minutes gone and Armagh trail Mayo 0-13 to 1-14, but have hit six points on the bounce.
Let's hear from Tony Leen down in the Kingdom: Biggest roar of the day in Killarney as David Clifford makes a 55th minute appearance. Kerry are 0-11 to 0-6 in front, their last score from Tadhg Morley a fine effort.
Goal for the Galway hurlers. Tiernan Killeen to Colm Molloy and he held off the close attention of Waterford's last line to swing one-handed to the net.
The hosts in front by 2-9 to 0-6 after 29 minutes, and this despite playing against the elements.
There is a purpose to Galway's play that is so lacking for the visitors, Waterford. Aaron Niland is coming very deep, unmarked, to pick up possession and by the time Waterford get a body onto him it is invariably too late. He put over back-to-back points and was then fouled for Galway's next white flag.
Mayo still ahead of Armagh with 12 minutes of the second-half gone. Ryan O’Donoghue and Cian McHale had pushed Mayo 0-9 up But Armagh have hit 2 2 pointers in a row from Greg McCabe and Oisin O’Neill.
In Ballyshannon, Donegal trail by four, 1-9 to 0-16, and Stephen McMenamin has been sent off for two yellows.
Back to Salthill: Cathal Mannion's third free of the half represents Galway's seventh successive white flag without reply. They lead 1-9 to 0-6. Waterford haven't scored in 15 minutes.
Derry have destroyed Cork in the second-half and hold a 16-point lead with a few minutes to go. Scoreboard currently reads 1-24 to 0-14.
Dublin well in control in the hurling too, against Davy Fitzgerald's Antrim - 0-9 to 0-3 after 15.
A completely insane game at Dr. Hyde Park, even by the current standards. Roscommon have missed 10 shots in a row including a great goal chance. Enda Smith's effort was saved, Diarmuid Murtagh hit the post from the rebound. It went out for a 45 and Conor Carroll missed that two. Dublin have scored 1-8 with only one saved shot, from the resulting 45 they worked a two.
Galway currently lead 0-16 to 1-7 in Ballyshannon. Picking off their scores quite efficiently. In Castlebar, Mayo extend their lead to 10 points. Bob Tuohy with the latest. Not long into second half proceedings at both venues.
Slow start for Limerick's hurlers in Tullamore. Offaly got the first two points and it's still 0-5 apiece midway through the first-half. There is a strong wind but it may be blowing across the pitch as much as anything.
Dublin have started well at Dr. Hyde Park.
Dessie Farrell's men have evidently spent the week working on two-pointers. They are flooding the 21 with bodies to create space for shooters outside. Niall Scully kicked a lovely score from outside the arc just there. 0-4 to 0-0 after 10 minutes. Roscommon are playing against the wind and clearly trying to be patient in attack while working some clock. Sean Bugler is on it. 0-2 scored and assisted the two.
Update from Galway-Waterford in Salthill: Early goal in Pearse Stadium. Galway, who are playing against the familiar Salthill gale (they lost the toss), opened their account with a green flag. Jason Rabbitte fetched Cianan Fahy's delivery. Ronan Glennon came off his shoulder, took the pop pass, and batted beyond Billy Nolan. The hosts lead 1-1 to 0-3. Eight minutes gone.
That lead has since been stretched to a whopping 13 points. Cork in trouble.

Back to Cork-Derry, and it's the hosts that have taken advantage and are in control. They lead 1-13 to 0-10 after 40 minutes.
Half-time in Castlebar and Mayo lead comfortably. They've hit four two-pointers on their way to a 1-11 to 0-5 interval lead.
Half-time scores in Division 1: Kerry 0-5 Monaghan 0-4; Mayo 1-11 Armagh 0-5; Donegal 1-7 Galway 0-13.
Half-time in Killarney and Kerry leading Monaghan 0-5 to 0-4. As one can imagine, a dog day afternoon in Killarney so more sow’s ear than silk purse. Three points from play for Paudie Clifford, young defender Eddie Healy also impressing.

The elements are capricious but seem to be favouring the dressing room end of Fitzgerald Stadium - and Kerry will have use of same in the second half. It will need something special to turn Monaghan’s Division One campaign around.
Update from Maurice Brosnan, who's at Roscommon v Dublin: The match programme will be obsolete in Dr Hyde Park. Just the seven changes to the Roscommon 26. Conor Carroll, Colm Neary, Ruaidhrí Fallon and Conor Hand all start. Shane Cunnane and Ben O'Carroll are on the bench, along with Dylan Kenny. Niall Higgins, Conor Ryan, Darragh Heneghan, Oisin Cregg, Cathal Heneghan and Jack Tumulty come out.
More hurling team news, this time from Brendan O'Brien: Limerick line out as selected but with Fintan Fitzgerald replacing Peter Casey on the bench. Two changes for Offaly with Ross Ravenhill and Oisin Kelly replacing Luke Watkins and Dan Ravenhill. Sparse crowd in Tullamore for this one. Throw-in at 2pm.
John Fogarty is at Nowlan Park: A large Cork crowd is already assembling in Kilkenny. Without a game for three weeks, that’s no surprise. Over 10,000 tickets had been sold a couple of days ago and the local expectation is the attendance will be close to 15,000.
Eoghan Cormican is in Salthill for Galway v Waterford in the hurling. A bit of team news: One change to the Waterford side. Brian Lynch replaces Sean Mackey, who had been named to start in midfield.
24 minutes in, the All-Ireland champions Kerry would seem to be fine dandy at 0-4 each and theoretically sitting pretty playing into the elements. Keith Evans and Joe O’Connor levelling for them. Monaghan struggling to get off their shots, which would seem detrimental. Now Paudie Clifford kicks his third to put Kerry 0-5 to 0-4 up.
Mayo still hold the lead over Armagh in Castlebar. Jason Duffy cut that lead to a goal, before a Conor Loftus two-pointer extended the gap. 1-6 to 0-4 after 28 mins.
Goal from Conor O’Donnell followed by two-point free 'keeper Gavin Mulreany has given Donegal a 1-6 to 0-5 lead over Galway. 20 gone.

Derry have taken the lead in Celtic Park thanks to a Niall Loughlin effort and a Lachlan Murray double. They're 10 points to nine up having played against the wind in the opening 35 minutes.
Points, both from the right and with the howling wind, from Karl Gallagher and Dessie Ward put Monaghan into a 0-4 to 0-2 lead in Killarney. 17 gone.

Up in Ballyshannon, it's all square - four points apiece. Donegal's Jamie Brennan the latest scorer, in reply to Galway's Cian Hernon.
Armagh get their opening score from Callum O’Neill. They trail 1-2 to 0-1.
Mayo now 1-2 to 0-0 ahead in Castlebar. Conditions very poor - heavy rain and a strong wind. Armagh playing into the wind in the first-half.
Cork still ahead in Derry, Sherlock has hit another two-pointer. They lead 0-9 to 0-7. A number of goal chances on both sides in recent minutes.
Kerry are playing into buffeting wind and rain in Killarney but two Paudie Clifford points has them level with Monaghan after nine mins. TL
Mayo have started fast in Castlebar. They were up 1-1 to no score inside three minutes against Armagh. Jordan Flynn with the goal. Monaghan lead Kerry 0-2 to 0-1.
Tough conditions in Ballyshannon, but Michael Langan and Jamie Brennan have Donegal two up early on against Galway.
Derry 0-4 Cork 0-6 after 15 enjoyable minutes. O'Callaghan just popped over a point to push Cork two clear.
A Shane McGuigan double, coupled with Lachlan Murray's opener has got Derry up and running. Sean Walsh has ensured Cork's lead remains at two however.
Cork hit the lead away at Derry. Six minutes gone and they lead 0-4 to 0-1. One for Colm O'Callaghan, three for Steven Sherlock, including a two-pointer.
One late change for John Cleary's Cork footballers sees Conor Corbett start in place of Mark Cronin in Derry.
Team news from Fitzgerald Stadium: For Kerry, no David Clifford or Tony Brosnan - Cillian Trant and Dylan Geaney start in their stead.
For Monaghan, Rory Beggan makes a welcome return in goals, Shane Hanratty comes in for the absent Gary Mohan in midfield, and Liam McDonald starts up top, with no Stephen O'Hanlon.
Here's all your GAA team news.
