Tipperary brothers emerging from the shadow of their illustrious sibling 

On the Monday night that Tipperary returned to Thurles for the homecoming after last year’s All-Ireland final victory, the team bus pulled up outside the Thurles Sarsfields clubhouse beside the Kinnane Stand. The homecoming was the main event but a huge crowd had already gathered outside the Sars clubhouse to mark something the Thurles club had been waiting over six decades to celebrate.
