Cork make nine changes for Munster SHL clash with Clare

Cork have made nine personnel changes to their side to play Clare in the Munster Senior Hurling League from the one which lost to Limerick on Wednesday.

Paudie O'Sullivan starts in goal while Darragh O'Sullivan, Dáire O'Leary, and Ballinora's Shane Kingston come into the fullback line. Ciarán Doolan, who was named at corner-back against Limerick, will start at wing-back against Clare. 

Brian Keating and Brian O'Sullivan get the nod in midfield while Ben Cunningham starts at centre-forward. Cian Darcy switches from midfield to wing-forward. 

Douglas' Shane Kingtston, who captains the team, has been named at corner-forward and Alan Walsh starts in the other corner. 

The 15-point defeat to Limerick means Cork would need a 29-point win to earn progression to the final from Group B. A win for Cork by fewer than 29 points would put Limerick in the final while a draw or a Clare victory would put the Banner in the decider. Waterford have already sealed their place in the final by topping Group A. 

Monday's game in Mallow throws in at 7pm. It will be broadcast live on the TG4 YouTube channel.
