Cork dual player Hannah Looney has joined AFLW side Hawthorn, her departure continuing a mini exodus from the Cork camogie set-up.

28-year-old Looney was selected as Pick 51 in the 2025 Draft and becomes the fourth Irish player in the present Hawthorn squad, joining Galway’s Áine McDonagh, Mayo’s Aileen Gilroy, and Niamh Martin of Tipperary.
