Howl. In the final fervour of an enthralling Munster final, the only instinct left for so many on Semple Stadium’s sacred field was to look to the sky and detonate.

Sam Ryan stands clutching the ball in disbelief. Conor Geaney disappears in a sea of ecstatic team-mates. So many hands are on heads in the stand. Uniting them all is an inability to process what just happened. Yet they quickly find themselves world apart.
